Information for Faculty

 

All faculty and members of the platform party should proceed to the Carson Athletic Student Center lobby. Please check in with Sara McVey and her team, and she will provide further instructions. 

All faculty and members of the platform party should be at the Carson Athletic Student Center lobby by 1:30 pm. This will allow ample time for the volunteers to get everyone lined up and over to the arena by 1:55 pm. 

There are a limited number of seats available on stage. When checking in, please indicate to the staff member that you would like to sit on stage and they will provide you a number with your place in line. Once all spaces have been claimed, all remaining faculty will sit in the bowl with our graduates.

ASU does not provide regalia to faculty. Faculty members must rent their regalia from the ASU Bookstore or other third-party vendors.

For faculty with a Ph.D.: A black robe with a standard PhD blue hood is acceptable. 

For faculty with a master's Degree: A black master's robe with sleeves and your degree's hood is acceptable. 

Regalia can also be purchased from our partner, Herff Jones. This regalia can be customized from your institution to where your graduate degree was conferred.
