Undergraduate Advising

ASU Online Students

Students may book an appointment with an advisor to discuss topics including registering for classes, exploring certificates and minors, and pursuing an accelerated masters.

First Time First Year (Freshman) Students at the Downtown Phoenix and West Valley Campuses

As a First Time First Year student at the Downtown Phoenix or West Valley Campus, you will receive communication from the Watts Welcome team explaining your next steps. This communication will include the process to sign up for orientation and register for classes.

If you have any questions, please email the Watts Welcome team at ASUWattsWelcome@asu.edu.  

After you have successfully completed your new student orientation, you are welcome to schedule an appointment with your advisor.

Newly Admitted Transfer Students at the Downtown Phoenix and West Valley Campuses

As a newly admitted Transfer Student at the Downtown Phoenix or West Valley Campus, please complete the following steps in order to register for your classes:

  1. Review the ASU Transfer Student Orientation Experience.
  2. Complete the Transfer Student Onboarding, a self-paced Canvas course.
  3. Schedule an appointment with your advisor.
