Newly Admitted Transfer Students

Welcome to Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions! We are excited to have you join us! 

If you are admitted to an undergraduate degree program at West Valley Campus or the Downtown Phoenix Campus, complete the following three easy steps to register for your classes:

  1. Review the ASU transfer student orientation experience
  2. Learn more about Watts College by completing the Transfer Student Onboarding. This self-paced course is hosted in Canvas, a tool commonly used within ASU classes. Consider downloading the Canvas app to access this course and future class materials. 
  3. Connect with your advisor at the Transfer Student Enrollment Workshop.

If you are newly admitted to the undergraduate Tucson Social Work program, please call 520-884-5507 for advising.

If you are admitted to an undergraduate degree program at any other campus, including online, you will be emailed your next steps. We look forward to connecting with you!


Undergraduate Express & Group Advising 

Can't wait for an appointment? Students also have the option to select either express or group advising to schedule a meeting with an advisor.

Use express advising if you have a quick question about one class, want an advisor to check your schedule, or just need quick recommendations for the upcoming semester. Express advising is either in-person or over the phone. The form opens at 8 a.m. on the appropriate date below and closes at 3:30 p.m. Students must be signed in by 3:29 p.m. to be helped. Students who sign in for in-person advising must be in the lobby when called to be helped. Fill out the sign-in form to join. 

Express advising for Downtown Phoenix Campus and West Valley Campus undergraduate programs is every Wednesday between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Express advising for Online undergraduate students is every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.   

Group advising sessions can replace individual advising appointments, resolving registration holds and providing a personalized advising plan for the upcoming semester. Sign up for a group advising session below according to your school:
