Osher summer program registration opens

Registration opens May 5 for the 2015 Summer Session at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at ASU. The noncredit summer classes meet during June at five valley locations.

Nearly 30 stimulating and educational courses range in topic from music appreciation and science to Arizona history and literature. A sampling of this summer’s course titles includes:

  • Shakespeare 2016
  • The Evidence for Evolution
  • Spirituality in American Poetry
  • The Language of American Politics
  • Navajo Society: Living Traditions and Culture
  • American Music Melodies: Berlin, Cohan, and Copeland
  • Along Route 66
  • Writing Vivid Memoir

Courses are open to adults age 50 and over.  OLLI at ASU semester membership is $15. If you have a Spring 2015 membership, it will apply to summer semester registration.  Classes range in price from $10 - $35.

The mission of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at ASU is to provide university-quality learning experiences for adults ages 50 and over through diverse short courses and lectures, campus-based learning opportunities, and civic engagement initiatives.
