Shuxu Liu

Shuxu Liu profile

Shuxu Liu is a current senior with HAITC majoring in Tourism Development and Management. One of her recent essays has been selected by the Tourism Tribune China Tourism Research Annual Conference in 2021, and she has interned with several companies studying the interplay between theory and practice, including the Career International as a headhunting consultant and the Grand Barony Hotel Xi’an in the Food and Beverage department.

Shiru Chen

Shiru Chen profile

Shiru Chen is a current senior with HAITC majoring in Public Service and Public Policy. She has participated in several research initiatives, including field-driven research in Tunchang County, Hainan. Shiru has recently applied for graduate school.

Wujiajie Zhu

Wujiajie Zhu profile

Wujiajie Zhu is a current senior with the HAITC program, holding his major in Tourism Development and Management. He has participated several forums and volunteer opportunities, including the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference, and has competed in the China College Students’ Internet+ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (2020), where his team won the Hainan Gold and Regional Silver.

Xuecong Fan

Xuecong Fan profile

A current senior with the HAITC program, Xuecong Fan holds a major in Parks and Recreation Management. She has participated in several international conferences and recently developed a research paper alongside her professor analyzing the evolution of travel following the pandemic; she has presented this research as first author at the 43rd Annual Southeast Environment and Recreation Research (SEER) Conference, and the paper is currently undergoing its second round of reviews with the Journal of Outdoor Recreation and Tourism (JORT).

Zicheng Wang

Zicheng Wang profile

Finishing his senior year with HAITC, Zicheng Wang holds a major in Tourism Development and Management. He has participated in several competitions, including the first Hainan Free Trade Port National College Students' Tourism Innovation Competition, and field-driven eco-tourism research initiatives; he is currently working alongside mentor Dr. Li Ping to establish an evaluation system of traditional villages that adapt to the regional characteristics of Hainan Province.
