Student achievements
Our students are achieving great accomplishments -- even before they graduate. Whether it is through assisting with faculty research, working in internships with our more than 800 community partners or serving on independent teams, they are taking on challenges and implementing innovative solutions. We don't just teach public service, we do it.
When Arizona State University student Sidney Stoffer applies to graduate schools, she can tout a journal article she co-authored as an undergraduate in Barrett, the Honors College.
Marcos Martinez, a doctoral candidate in the School of Social Work, was recently selected to present his research at the National Hispanic Science Network (NHSN) International Conference in El Paso, Texas.
Arizona State University students Emily Barney and Lauren Bacon will travel to Harvard University later this month as part of a national effort fostering youth political engagement. They will join four-dozen other students, Sept. 27-28, at Harvard’s Institute of Politics for “Bipartisan Advocacy: Finding Common Ground,” an intensive training and conference featuring top political practitioners.
