Andrew Goodman Foundation (AGF) : Vote Everywhere
AGF’s Vote Everywhere program is a national, nonpartisan, civic engagement movement of student leaders who work to register voters, bring down voting barriers and tackle important social justice issues. The Pastor Center launched the partnership between ASU and AGF during the inaugural year in 2015.
Fair Elections Center: Campus Vote Project
The Pastor Center selects, trains and mentors ASU’s Democracy Fellows, who are on-campus student leaders and strengthen both campus and broader community democratic engagement. These students promote nonpartisan voter registration, lead conversations about democracy and voting-rights legislation, and work to build lasting civic momentum across ASU and beyond.

Center & fellowship Overview
The Pastor Center empowers students through mentorship, professional networking, and skill-building experiences that prepare them for meaningful civic engagement. The Pastor Fellowship is offered in partnership with the Andrew Goodman Foundation and the Fair Elections Center’s Campus Vote Project.
- Fellowship-specific stipend per semester active
- Build and strengthen leadership skills in communication, public relations, community organizing, outreach, and campaign planning
- Learn about the legacy of Congressman Ed Pastor, Arizona political history, and other change makers
- Network with practicing public servants
- Support voter registration, voter education, and get-out-the-vote efforts on campus
- Organize and collaborate with students, clubs, and social organizations around voting and social issues
- Create programs and initiatives focused on civic and political issues beyond elections
- Plan events and programming that advance the mission of the Pastor Center and its fellowship partners
- Recruit and mentor volunteers and future fellows
- Currently enrolled and accepted in an undergraduate or graduate program at Arizona State University
- Preference for undergraduate students with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Interest in voter engagement and public and/or community service
- Students from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply
- Ability to commit to at least one year of active engagement
- February 9th: Interest form opens
- April 6th: Deadline
- April 27th: Acceptance Period
- May 1st: Last day to sign contract
- August 27th: Orientation
