A book co-written by an ASU professor about how inequalities in the criminal justice system have roots in bail and pretrial detention issues has been recognized by the Vera Institute of Justice as one of its best books of 2019.
Thanks to the hard work of faculty and student researchers, the School of Public Affairs in the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions at Arizona State University was recently ranked #3 in the U.S. and #7 globally for research on public administration in the 2019 ShanghaiRanking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects — ranking above institutions such as Harvard, Oxford and UC-Berkeley. The 2019 results demonstrate an increase from #5 in the U.S.
