Belinda graduated from ASU with a master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in policy, administration, and community practice in 2018 and a master’s degree in Public Administration in 2020. Belinda was a non-traditional, first-generation student, and she’s the proud daughter of California field-workers. While her upbringing was challenging, she believes it’s given her a unique perspective and the ability to communicate with people of vastly different backgrounds. Belinda’s professional experience includes small business owner and working with diverse populations – most notably working with youth and adults that have a disability while employed with Tempe Union High School District and Vocational Rehabilitation Services. She is passionate about employment and education access as a way for people to gain a sense of stability and self-sufficiency.
