ASU YSEALI Podcast: Using art to teach kids proper hygiene in Cambodia: Yeo Quan Yi from Singapore discusses his YSEALI project with Christine Buzinde, an associate professor with the ASU School of Community Resources and Development. Quan Yi partnered with Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative fellow Zaw Min Aung of Burma to address proper hand washing techniques in Cambodia. Research shows lack of proper hygiene increases the risk of diarrheal diseases. Quan Yi talks about the type of art they'll use to convey to children how to properly wash their hands.
ASU YSEALI Podcast: Clean water and sanitation in Cambodia: YSEALI fellow Ihsan Nur Imam Faris talks about a project to educate Cambodians in one village about the importance of clean water and improving sanitation with Christine Buzinde, an associate professor with the ASU School of Community Resources and Development. Faris partnered with Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative fellow Roath Sophanna from Cambodia to use a dramatic plays to educate the community about how citizens contribute to the problem and what they can do about it.
ASU YSEALI Podcast: Reproductive health education in the Philipines: YSEALI fellow John Rabutin Lumapay talks about her YSEALI project with Christine Buzinde, an associate professor with the ASU School of Community Resources and Development. Lumapay partnered with Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative fellow Krystelle Diane Mag-Aso Teh to address the need for reproductive health education among adolescents in the Philipines.

Mahmood partnered with Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative fellow Kris Ayu Madina of Indonesia to address sexual abuse and prevention of sexual diseases. Mahmood cites research that shows Indonesia has one of the highest populations of adolescents living with HIV or AI

ASU YSEALI Podcast: Adolescent reproductive health awareness in Vietnam: Cuong Thi Kim Nguyen discusses a YSEALI project to increase awareness about reproductive health among adolescents in Vietnam with Christine Buzinde, an associate professor in the ASU School of Community Resources and Development. Nguyen, who is partnering with Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative fellow Trang Thi Huyen Nguyen, talks about the ramifications stemming from the lack of reproductive health knowledge and how they will use storytelling and theater to address it.
